Due to lack of sufficient sales, the Swiss Ouboter family, sole shareholder, is looking for an investor.

On the production line of the Moncalieri factory, around ten blue Microlinos are lined up in a newly renovated building. It is here, near Turin, that these small electric cars, twins of the Isettas of the 1950s, are manufactured in an almost artisanal manner. Here there is no robot to install the electric motor block, the batteries, the aluminum walls and the famous front door as a hood which gives it its very particular rounded shape.

There are few workers working on these little joyfully colored automotive candies in the various buildings on the Cecomp site, the Italian engineering company specializing in the production of prototypes for premium brands or small series. The ex-Bluecars of the Bolloré group, these electric cars which circulated in Paris in car sharing under the Autolib brand, were manufactured there. Two years ago, Microlino took over.
