Lekko, the sustainable tourism accelerator, created by Charentes Tourisme and VVF, is the winner for the 2nd consecutive edition of the Call for Expressions of Interest (AMI) “ Tourism innovation & experimental grounds » managed by Atout France as part of the Destination France plan.
This system aims to support innovative projects in the tourism sector. It encourages initiatives that promote sustainable development, the improvement of the tourist experience and the use of new technologies.
Selected candidates benefit from technical and financial support to test and develop their solutions in experimental areas. This program strengthens the attractiveness of France as a leading tourist destination.
Four experimental projects, which reflect the values of meaning and sustainability for their territories, were selected:
Raising awareness of animal biodiversity with Wild Immersion (in partnership with the Charentes Tourist Offices and the VVF group);
Implementation of a solution for re-marketing stays in holiday villages with SlotR;
Measurement, monitoring, analysis of energy and water consumption with O-CELL;
Pet guarding with PatchGuard.
