Clariant: presents its medium-term objectives to its CMD

Clariant is organizing an investor day (CMD) in London today to take stock of its strategy.

Clariant remains committed to its medium-term objectives, to be achieved by 2027 at the latest: sales growth of 4 to 6% in local currency; 19 to 21% published EBITDA margin; and approximately 40% free cash flow conversion.

The medium-term objective is supported by tangible growth levers, assuming market growth of 2-4%. The three areas of innovation are expected to generate growth of around 1.5% per year.

Clariant is well positioned to grow its reported EBITDA margin from approximately 16% for 2024 to a medium-term target range of 19-21% by 2027 at the latest.

Clariant has increased its target of reducing scope 1 and 2 emissions by 46% by 2030 (compared to 40% previously). The group is doubling its scope 3 emissions reduction objective, from 14% to 28%. Clariant has resubmitted these upwardly revised targets in accordance with the SBTi 1.5°C short-term scenario.
