A at the end of last January, bpost bank ceased to exist; and its million customers joined BNP Paribas Fortis. It was not a surprise: in 2021, the country’s leading banking brand, a subsidiary of the French group BNP Paribas, had acquired the entire capital of bpost bank (of which it had held 50% since the mid-nineties) and announced its desire to legally integrate the two banks.

However, one institution was not the other, particularly in terms of fees and prices. For the occasion, BNP Paribas Fortis has reviewed its prices and decided to offer all its customers, old and new, two formulas, two “packs”, according to their profile: Easy Go, at 2 euros per month, or 50 cents off. more than the cheapest formula at bpost bank; and Easy Guide, at 5.5 euros – accompanied if necessary by options (for example: a credit card, which is not included in Easy Go), normally chargeable, but offered in 2024.
