They believed they died during a flight between San Diego and Las Vegas (United States) on October 5. Their Airbus A321 landed on the runway while its landing gear was on fire. Three passengers, who were slightly injured, decided to file a complaint. They announced to Fox 5 that they had joined forces to sue Frontier Airlines.
30,000 euros in damage
In the complaint, consulted by the American media, the two men and the woman speak of a very violent impact when the plane arrived at Harry-Reid international airport. The tires would have exploded and the landing gear would have fallen off. Traumatized, they explained that they remained stuck in the aircraft for an hour while choking smoke filled the cabin.
The three plaintiffs also detail the impact of this incident on them. They cite “emotional distress, pain and suffering, lost wages, medical expenses.” Damage estimated at nearly 30,000 dollars, or 27,500 euros.

A lack of security
They denounce a lack of security and believe that Frontier Airlines is entirely at fault. “These damages result from the airline's failure to properly repair, inspect, maintain and operate its aircraft to reasonable safety standards. »
After the incident, the airline and the Las Vegas airport, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed the opening of an investigation. The plane was carrying 190 passengers, not including crew members.
