UM6P takes Moroccan startups on an immersion in Barcelona in partnership with Glovo

The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), through its startup campus Startgate and Technopark, organized an immersion in Barcelona for Moroccan startups, as part of the “Glovo Startup Lab” program.

Held under the aegis of the Department of Digital Transition, Glovo, in partnership with 212 Founders, the program offered supported Moroccan startups opportunities for growth and international expansion, as well as promoting the exchange of knowledge and sharing of good practices.

The training, which took place from September 15 to 27 at Glovo’s headquarters in Barcelona, ​​was designed to support 8 Moroccan startups by providing them with mentoring, networking and financing opportunities.

This initiative, which is part of Glovo’s “Tech Catalyst” program, is fully in line with the vision of the Digital Transition Department, which supports Moroccan startups in their expansion, development and international opening.

The selected startups had the opportunity to participate in workshops on various subjects, led by the partner Impact Hub, in order to strengthen their skills and refine their strategies.

Participants attended dedicated sessions with Glovo mentors and made external visits to innovative companies, such as Preply, Norrsken, Eurecat and the Esade Entrepreneurship Institute.
