The Competition Council has authorized the exclusive takeover of Akdital Immo by Aradei Capital. The transaction, notified to the Competition Council in July 2024, concerns the acquisition of the stake held by Akdital and BFO Foncière in the real estate company Akdital Immo, dedicated to the private health sector in Morocco.

Thus, after acquiring a 51% stake in Akdital Immo in January 2022, Aradei Capital is buying back the stakes of the two co-founders, namely Akdital (31.85%) and BFO Foncière (17.15%), for an amount of 268 million dirhams.

Akdital Immo owns operational healthcare facilities located in strategic cities across the Kingdom (notably in Tangier, El-Jadida, Agadir, Salé and Safi). These healthcare units are operated by Akdital under long-term lease contracts.

Akdital Immo’s real estate assets reach a rental area (GLA) of more than 80,000 m² and are valued at nearly 900 MDH at the end of December 2023.

“Akdital’s exit from the shareholding of Akdital Immo is part of its strategy to refocus on its core business, namely the operation of healthcare establishments,” said Akdital’s Chairman and CEO, Rochdi Talib.
