SICO

The color of the year 2025 for SICO paints is The starry night (6044-83), “a deep purple that illustrates the transformative power of colors from nature.”

This shade combines warmth and energy, which helps create balanced spaces that are both enveloping and dynamic.

“The Starry Night evokes the vastness and intensity of the night sky, and fosters the unifying feeling of knowing that celestial phenomena seen at home are also visible to billions of other people.”

Sico’s color specialists suggest Starry Night to inject a healthy dose of energy into any space, but especially recommend using it on the following surfaces: interior walls and trim, interior cabinets, exterior doors.

Consumers will find Starry Night and other trendy shades of 2025 in-store or at Sico.ca, and can view any colour Sico in their space using the LABO DÉCO COULEURSMC SICO software, accessible online.

DULUX

The DULUX paint colour of the year 2025 is Purple Basil (DLX1046-7), “an intense, yet pleasing shade that perfectly illustrates the transformative power of color.”

This rich, warm purple is part of the growing trend toward saturated, striking colors, encouraging consumers to break the norm and choose the vibrant colors that appeal to them most.

Dulux colour experts advise designers and home decorators to use Basil Violet in multiple spaces: walls and trim, interior cabinets, exterior accents.
