Silo: books to read after the series

The sci-fi series with Rebecca Ferguson, Silohas just broadcast the last episode of season 2. While waiting for season 3, here is the guide to the books by Hugh Howey, the author from whom this Apple + series is adapted.

Season 2 of Silo ended in January 2025. Don’t panic though, season 3 of Silo is already planned, and even a season 4. Until then, you can watch other sci-fi series in the same genre. But there are also the books of Hugh Howey, the author at the origin of this universe.

The Silo saga books

The literary saga Silo is divided into three volumes, all available in pocket format in :

  • Silovolume 1, Hugh Howey, Paperback, 744 pages. This is the first book in the saga, from which the first two seasons of the Apple TV+ series come.
  • Silo : Originesvolume 2, Hugh Howey, Paperback, 704 pages. This second volume is a prequel, it is set 300 years before the events of the first book, i.e. in 2049. There are different characters. Season 3 of the series will feature flashbacks from this volume.
  • Silo: Generationsvolume 3, Hugh Howey, Paperback, 544 pages. This third volume, which picks up more or less where the first left us, completely closes the saga.
