Laurence Beynard took 4 years to write your book, Port-Bail, a story of men and women. Four years because she wanted to do things right. Don't forget anyone and talk about Portbail (Manche) like its inhabitants know it.

She talks about the history of the town of course, of many memories that she took the time to collect from eldersof the numerous associations and their volunteers who bring a conviviality et a dynamic appreciated by all.

“I would not claim to have written a complete history of our city nor a historical work. I admit to having written a story with holes, an incomplete story. Nevertheless, I still wanted to write so as not to forget, so that we remember those who made Portbail what it is today,” declares the writer.
