We all studied it in kindergarten, so it’s a very well-known book, particularly for its message. It is a tale that warns against seducers who use flattery to achieve their end.

It is also famous because it is part of the Father Castor stories. The author of this book aimed to make the child active in learning to read.
The goal is for it to be read by children and not by parents for children.
