This year again, the municipality spared no effort to decorate the streets and organize festive and gourmet moments for the population in the run-up to the Christmas holidays.
Municipal agents and employees of the integration project worked in synergy to create a decor and illuminate the town hall park, the ruins of the abbey and the Place de la République. Municipal employees were invited by the municipality for a friendly aperitif during which the mayor and council gave a gift card to each of the agents. After the warm speech and the well wishes, everyone was able to raise a glass of friendship and taste some delicacies. A nice moment conducive to strengthening ties between municipal agents and councilors.
A few days later, it was the turn of the employees, technical, administrative and social supervisors of the integration site to share a friendly moment with the mayor and municipal councilors around pastries, chouquettes and coffee. A special moment where everyone was able to share thanks and recognition and during which everyone received a beautiful box of Nougalet chocolates, a famous local chocolate factory which, let us remember, opened its first store in Alet in the 1930s.
Finally that day, the minds of the schoolchildren were overheated. After the delicious Christmas meal, concocted by Isabelle, to which the municipality invited, like every year, all the children and educational staff, the children filled parents and teachers with pride by presenting the dances and songs repeated for several weeks. Adults and children then shared the snack prepared by the children under the watchful eye and wise advice of Antoinette Fairhurst.
