The biography of our friend Patrice

Grandsons of two agents of the British secret services (MI6), expelled from the Stanislas College in , like Guillaume Apollinaire and for the same reasons (reading banned books), graduated from the ESCP Business School, Patrice Montagu- Williams pursued his talents in international business, which allowed him to see the world.

He lived in then in Rio de Janeiro (he is married to a Brazilian) before settling in Athens where he was finally able to satisfy his passion for writing. His first manuscript, a detective novel entitled The Jade Gatethe first opus in a series devoted to the investigations of Commissioner Samarkand, was published for the first time in 2012 by Balland. This title is now available from Otago Editions as well as 4 other volumes in the Commissioner Samarcande series (African Queens, Operation Petrushka, Sunrise’s song, This is how the Angels live).

In 2014, appeared in the collection L'Âme des Peuples, In the footsteps of the giant (republished twice after updating under the title The anger of a giant, published by Editions NEVICATA-Bruxelles), a book designed as a decoder allowing us to understand this immense country that is Brazil. This work was followed in 2017, still in the L’Âme des peuple collection, by a second, this time dedicated to the city of : Much more than a walk.

Patrice Montagu-Williams has also published several serials on the French-speaking site with a large audience, Gavroche, based in Bangkok and covering the whole of South-East Asia. Three of these serials were published in early 2022 in the form of micro-novels brought together under the title: The girl who loved clouds (Gope editions).

In October 2022, a completely crazy true-fake biography of the author was published: Lux Bar Memories (editions Not Us).

In July 2024, the author takes us this time to Indonesia, with his latest novel, The Sumatran Tigresswhich is published by Aesa Editions.
