Here are our e-reader suggestions for your vacation

A paper book of more than 300 pages in your suitcase weighs more than 300 g, not to mention the bulk. On the other hand, a 7-inch screen e-reader that weighs only 200 g can hold up to 24,000 e-books and hundreds of audio books in 32 GB of memory.

Not to mention that some models are also capable of performing tasks like taking notes.

Kobo Libra Color e-reader from Rakuten

Until recently, e-readers only displayed black on a white background or the reverse in dark mode.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite

The flagship product of Amazon’s in-house e-readers, the Kindle Paperwhite model offers a slightly larger screen, at 6.8″, thinner edges, a warmer screen setting up to amber and up to 10 weeks of autonomy.

Reading on the screen reads like real paper, even in direct sunlight and like the previous ones, the e-reader is waterproof.

According to CamelCamelCamel, the product experiences price drops regularly. Watch for Prime Day from July 16 to 17.

Why not have a book app on your device?

Another possibility is to use your smartphone or tablet as a book reader by installing a dedicated application.
