Arrival of the quinté : 6 – 7 – 2 – 8 – 9

Absent during the first part of the season, Slice and Dice (n° 6) is making up for lost time. After two convincing outings and a victory at Auteuil, William Menuet’s protégé confirmed her return to the forefront by winning this quinté contested on the most flowery racecourse in France. “She is really nice and adapts to all courses,” reacts her jockey, Théo Chevillard, winner of his 13th event. “There was pace and that was to her advantage.” Performing well in steeplechase, the 5-year-old female was taking her first steps at this level and did not fail in her task, proving her trainer, William Menuet, right. “I came in with confidence,” insists the man who is pinning the second quinté of his career. “The good ground worked in her favor and she proves that she is capable of taking on the males.”

At the center of an investigation for a line change, the winner is finally maintained in her classification and beats hard, Muthalad (n° 7), who is showing himself to be very courageous, after having been constantly pointed out in the leading group. Charmino (n° 2) takes third place ahead of Harmony of Ainay (n° 8), to be credited with a fine finish to the race, and Flash Davier (n° 9), who was not very lucky in the final meters of the competition.
