The UDTL authors release their fourth book

For the fourth consecutive season, the participants of the two UDTL writing workshops worked to compose a set of texts with a view to constituting a collection. This volume 4 of The ink of Blaise of 250 pages and which has just been printed in 600 copies, is already on sale at the La Rose des Vents bookstore.

The 24 texts that make up the collection, written by 16 authors, tell the story of and its immediate surroundings. “Please note, this is in no way a tourist guide, far from it,” specify the authors. “A very large place is reserved, on the contrary, for emotions, for lives, real or invented, for secrets, also potentially imaginary, for fantasy. »

If the “great” monuments and characters of the city are evoked, the small history also appears there, that of the working-class neighborhoods or the workers of the local industry. Some news could even bring tears to readers…

150 e anniversary of impressionism

The editorial team, mainly made up of Jean-Pierre Leguéré and Jean-Jacques Vollmer, chose the study of wisteria by Claude Monet for the front cover: “This can make this flagship work of our museum better known; it is also a tribute to the 150 e anniversary of impressionism, and our book is therefore very beautiful! », Comment the authors with satisfaction.
