The Beaumont-de-Lomagne Children’s Book Fair opens its doors this Thursday, November 21. The socio-cultural association and the CCLTG media library invite you, Thursday November 21 at 6 p.m., to the inauguration of the Children’s Book Fair. The guest authors: Jean-Christophe Tixier and Sophie Laroche, during the three days of this Show, numerous events are planned to delight young and old, schools and the general public. Thursday and Friday are reserved for schoolchildren from CE2 to high school (more than 500 students concerned) with meetings with authors in classes, a media education workshop (proposed by the departmental media library of Tarn-et-Garonne), a show at the cinema: “Treasure Island”, by Cie 9 Thermidor.
Thursday at 6 p.m., the inauguration will take place in the village hall, aperitif offered by the town hall; at 7 p.m., conference by Alain Cagnati on cryptography. He will reveal to us some anecdotes from his former profession and the secrets of this ancient science (from 15 years old, free). Saturday 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., games and crafts (free), signing of authors on the stand of the Livres et vous bookstore, in Sarrant; writing workshop by J.-C. Tixier (registration required); show at 4:30 p.m.: “SOS doudou” by the Cie Les Astronambules (from 4 years old). This event cannot take place without the presence of volunteers and students from Lestonnac high school, whom we thank!
