Words, writers and books this Sunday

This Sunday, November 10, the Paturèle and Anne Leenhardt association invite you to dive into a captivating literary universe. More than 20 authors from the Grand Pic Saint-Loup region will be present to share their works, offering varied and unexpected stories for all ages and all sensibilities.

The event will start at 2 p.m. and continue until 6:30 p.m., with a rich and diverse program. Participants will be able to indulge in a poetic walk around words, a literary stroll and a stroll through the village, where each corner will reveal its treasures of language. Under the magnificent Mauritanian tent, exceptional entertainment will be offered.

At 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., Kamchikaï will present illustrated tales for young and old. At 3 p.m., Lettres à corps will introduce a new language where each movement becomes a letter, offering a unique experience of body poetry. At 5:15 p.m., a conference debate on Le Val de Londres will delve into the history and culture of the region.

At 6:30 p.m., the Farandole aux Lampions will light up the streets of the village, accompanied by the energetic rhythm of the batucada. It will be possible to reserve a lantern at reception for €1 and take part in this light procession.

To end the evening in style, between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., a small meal will be offered on site or to take away, including a portion of rougail sausage for €8. Finally, from 8 p.m., a warm and poetic moment around the fire will celebrate the magic of words under the stars, perfect to end this unforgettable day.

Meals can be reserved by email at [email protected] or directly at the Chez Julie grocery store in Lauret.
