For a year, Vincent and Pascale have taken over the BDvore bookstore and transformed it into a dynamic space, mixing comics, manga and local culture.

A year ago, Vincent and Pascale took over the BDvore bookstore. Temple of comics, comics and manga in , this business already had many followers. But the challenge for Vincent and Pascale was to make it last, to offer something new while keeping the authenticity of the store dedicated to the 9th art.

“Vincent and I really wanted to make a living from our passion for comics,” explains Pascale. “We wanted to make BDvore a living place where you can buy comics, manga, comics but also exhibit young local artists, offer workshops related to comics or manga. Was the public going to be attracted by our proposal? From the start, we received a great welcome. The old BDvore customers remained. Together, we took the time to share our common passion for comics. have made us discover but the customers have also made us discover things. It’s magical.”

More than just a bookstore, BDvore quickly became a place where you feel good. Young local artists felt motivated to continue in their art. Customers become friends. BDvore is also exported to local literary salons. Strong partnerships have been forged.

So for its first anniversary, BDvore wanted to do something festive with a day of games: raffle, tic-tac-toe game, roulette, dice to win cool manga goodies.

As for the future, Vincent and Pascale want to continue their momentum. Exhibitions, partnerships, sharing with people. Quite simply.
