Friday September 20, Jean-Benoît Albertini, prefect of the region, prefect of Seine-Maritime and Nathalie Lecordier, Vice-President of the Department of Seine-Maritime, officially installed the Departmental Committee for Employment (CDE) of Seine-Maritime. This approach, which is part of the “Full Employment” law, enacted on December 18, 2023, aims to improve the employment situation in the department.

Faced with the increase in the number of job seekers without activity (category A), which stands on average at 54,480 over the quarter, the establishment of the CDE aims to facilitate coordination between the different actors of the employment at local, regional and national level. Among the objectives of this approach: to promote the professional integration of job seekers, adapt their skills to the specific needs of local businesses and strengthen the economic attractiveness of the region.

This coordination between the various employment stakeholders ( Travail, Pôle emploi, local missions, businesses, local authorities, etc.), will contribute to reducing the unemployment rate and promoting the professional integration of long-term job seekers. duration, to develop local employment and to improve the quality of employment as well as working conditions in the region.
