The guests of honor at the Berric Book Fair, Eugène Riguidel and Nono, spoke about their lives punctuated by struggles, with incredible humor which made the Verger cultural hall resonate with laughter on Saturday afternoon. “With Nono, we met recently and we became very good friends. We are activists and activism gives enthusiasm! », confides the navigator. Both are proud to be citizens of the world, each defending in their own way the Breton heritage and language, toponymy, ecology, injustices. Nono, a humorous cartoonist at Télégramme, defends minorities and writes travel diaries illustrated in watercolors which create a link with the inhabitants more than a camera. “We are two passionate people. Eugène has a carnal relationship with the sea and I with paper,” says Nono. He illustrated Eugène’s latest work, “A la cocotte, les oysters” which they will present at the Book Fair on Sunday October 13.
