Nicolas Nutten was awarded the 2024 Embouchure prize, awarded by a jury of Toulouse police officers, for his latest novel: Terra Mater. The name of the winner was revealed this Saturday, during the 16th edition of the Toulouse Polar du Sud festival.

Nicolas Nutten was crowned this Saturday during the 16th edition of the Toulouse Polar du Sud festival. With his third novel “Terra Mater”, the former IT developer is the winner of the 14th Prix de l’Embouchure. The author, originally from Montpellier, is not unknown: he has already won four literary prizes. “But this one is different because it’s a specialist prize,” slips the author. In fact, 60 Toulouse police officers chose his latest opus among eight other thrillers.
