Hervé Lefebvre, originally from Dourdan (Essonne), has just published his book, A journey to becoming happy . He was at the Esperluète bookstore in Chartres on Saturday to present it.
An autobiographical story relating the initiatory quest of a man, setting off alone for the first time in his life hitchhiking on the roads of France.
This is the subject of the book by Hervé Lefebvre, former researcher in science and chemistry, presented at Esperluète on Saturday.
“An adventure”
He confides: “It was after a depression, in 2011, that I began this quest for meaning: a search to know and understand myself. This book is a true inner journey that taught me about myself, but also about others. »
At 48, this man, who is not used to traveling alone, set off on the roads of France for six days. “It was an adventure, I left without a specific destination and without money, just with a backpack,” recalls the author.
So many anecdotes and exchanges, which taught him to give meaning to his life, feel free, and become happy.
