As part of the Periphery of the 41st Poetry Market, this year placed under the sign of Greece, the André Malraux library hosts a meeting with the writer Yannis Kiourtsakis.

It will be received at the library by the poet, essayist and editor Sylvestre Clancier on the occasion of the release of his book Camus, and Séféris, a matter of light published by La tête à l’envers.

Yannis Kiourtsakis is a Greek essayist, novelist and translator. He became known in France with autobiographical works first evoking his childhood and adolescence in The Dicolonthen his youth from his eighteen years until the writing of the Dicolonwith the novel Double Exile. Citing Rainer Maria Rilke, Fyodor Dostoyevsky and his country’s popular culture among his main influences,
his literary work revolves around the themes of exile and
identity. He was elevated to the rank of Knight of Arts and Letters.

Meeting organized by the Marché de la Poésie, in partnership with the Maison de Poésie and la tête à l’envers editions.
