Extraterrestrials came to Earth 2,600 years ago to make hourglasses with the Olmecs. Each of these hourglasses of life is connected to a human being.

Now, as humanity seems on the verge of its downfall, the Kartinians aim to manage human demography through these hourglasses. At the microphone of the France Bleu Auxerre player, the Icaune author talks to you about her new book The Grain of Sand.

A new grain of sand

Isabelle Clauson’s book has no link with the comic strip by Bec Christophe and Diaz Jean The Grain of Sand Theory. No connection, or almost no connection. At least two things in common: aliens and time travel.

In Isabelle Clauson’s story, the Kartinians landed in Mexico in 600 BC and betrayed the indigenous population with whom they had made a promise. In 2020, the Earth is in bad shape and so is humanity. In the 21st century, a soldier is sent to investigate the Kartinians. He must face a dilemma that drives this story throughout the pages.

Isabelle’s double life

Isabelle Clauson has lived in Saint-Cyr-les-Colons since her adolescence. Three years ago, she released her first novel The Sixth Lifealways with Jets d’Encre editions.** By listening to this interview again, you will learn more about him and his double life. Isabelle actually works in Monéteau. It was therefore after her professional day that she started writing.
