THE CHRONICLE OF ÉRIC NEUHOFF – The novel by the British playwright, which will soon be adapted for the cinema, leaves a taste of salt on the skin.

Her computer screen is cracked, but her whole life has been shattered, like the fake Greek vase she dropped on the tiles of their beach house. This summer 2015, Sofia is on the Andalusian coast with her mother suffering from a mysterious illness which prevents her from walking. They have an appointment at Doctor Gomez’s clinic. The practice of setting dizzying prices: they were forced to mortgage their London apartment (25,000 euros). The doctor orders the paralyzed woman to stop all her treatments. In Sofia, he advises stealing a fish from a market stall. A strange atmosphere weighs on this vacation which is not one.
