In rural areas, charging stations are not legion, are not “fast charging” models for the most part, and what's more, they regularly malfunction. This is the observation made by Nil Caouissin of Cavan (Côtes-d'Armor)on the terminal installed by the SDE in the parking lot of the Cavan town hall.

No way to pay

The Cavannais, who lives in the town center, without space to park his vehicle near his home, obviously cannot recharge from his personal electricity network. The only solution left is public terminals, as for many other road users. And no solution on the horizon.

“To get around the problem, I decided to switch to payment by badge, and order one on the Ouest-Charge website. But impossible to pay! Again, I tried with another bank card, with no more success. I have called the support platform several times, but the agents who answer me have no solution.”

No better in the neighboring town

Nil Caouissin therefore decided to join the neighboring town of Tonquédec, which has just installed the same system. But there again, he came up short: “The Tonquédec terminal also malfunctions regularly, in the same way…”
