On Saturday, seven teams took over for the U15 boys in the morning, while the afternoon gave way to the U18 tournament, with six teams for girls, ten for boys. “This year, we have had the tournament certified by the FFBB (French Basketball Federation) so that the players earn points for the ranking (world ranking)”, specify the leaders of the Seaguls.
The sporting organization of the tournament was managed by Lorye, an employee of the club, while the relatives of Gaël and Sandrine Fuhrmann and fourteen volunteers from the club worked to ensure stewardship, all in a warm atmosphere also provided by two DJs. volunteers.
For the fight against cancer
The teams' registration fees will be entirely donated to cancer research (Gustave-Roussy Institute in Villejuif), via the La Thomas Team association, as well as the donations collected during the weekend, i.e. €985. Note that the Saint-Brieuc club made a donation of €100.
