(Keystone-ATS) “As far as possible, the care and care of people with disabilities must remain assured by the same people as before and ensure that the solutions that have proven themselves can be maintained,” said the canton on Thursday. The services must be provided through a home support service only when it is appropriate and proportioned.

The law, adopted in 2023, wants to allow people with disabilities to lead a more self -determinated and autonomous life. The central element is the adaptation of the financing system for support services. Its introductory phase started in 2024 and should be completed in 2027.
