After defeating the Orlando Magic in five games, the Boston Celtics will face the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The opening contest of the series is scheduled for Monday, May 5. Boston is undefeated against New York during the 2024-25 NBA season. Tom Thibodeau’s team is also coming into the series after a gruelling seven-game battle against the Detroit Pistons.
As such, the Celtics have a few clear advantages. Joe Mazzulla will also have the best player in the series, as Jayson Tatum has enjoyed his outings against the Knicks in recent seasons. In fact, in his four games against New York this season, he is averaging 33.5 points, 7 assists and 6.8 rebounds. He’s shooting 47.8% from deep and 53.5% from the field.

To get the fan base hyped up for what will likely be an intense battle between divisional rivals, the Celtics’ social media team has released a complete highlights package of Boston’s four games against the Knicks this season. Of course, those highlights will show the Celtics having their way on offense and Tatum dominating the scoring.
