In 2024, Eramet Grande Côte confirmed its central role in the Senegalese economy, with a global contribution of 122 billion CFA francs, consolidating its position as a reference partner for national development. This amount includes 28 billion CFA francs paid in and taxes, 70.5 billion in local purchases and subcontracting, as well as 22 billion in , supporting 2,526 direct jobs, including 98 % occupied by Senegalese.

Through its commitments in health, agriculture, entrepreneurship and regional planning, the company has impacted more than “20,000 beneficiaries through its social initiatives”, read in a press release. In 2024, 13,000 consultations were carried out in the structures supported by Eramet. In the agricultural field, “1,500 gardeners received 57 tonnes of inputs and 882 pots of onion seeds, while 6,000 people, including 500 , were integrated into groups of economic interests”, indicates the source.

The Oasis du : a major tourist and ecological project

With the creation of the Senegal Oasis in Darou Khoudoss, Eramet initiated a structuring project in favor of sustainable , mobilizing 2 billion CFA francs. This 544 hectare site, combining ecology, relaxation and local development, has welcomed a tourist operator since January 2025, strengthening the attractiveness of the region.

Eramet Beyond: patronage at the service of women and the rural

Through its “Beyond for Contributive Impacts” , Eramet deploys two major initiatives:

Women of the Future Senegal, in partnership with Women in Africa Philanthropy, enabled 178 entrepreneurs to train, generating 1,749 indirect jobs. Two courses are offered: “ shoots”: 200 women formed per year via intensive bootcamps, “confirmed entrepreneurs”: individual support for five profiles with high potential. BUILD (Beyond Uniting Initiatives For Louga’s Development), launched in 2023, aims to stimulate the income of the rural communities of Louga, based on the market gardening, breeding and fishing sectors. The year 2024 made it possible to structure the project in three pilot municipalities: Thieppe, Kab Gaye and Diokoul Diawgrine.
