An accident between two vehicles causes a large cap on the Perthus road

An accident occurred on the D900at the level of the municipality of Cluses (Pyrénées-Orientales), this Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Traffic is strongly disrupted on this road which leads to Perthus and Spain, announces the departmental operational center of fire and rescue (Codis 66) in Actu Perpignan.

Dragon 66 expected to evacuate a victim

The facts occurred around 5 p.m. Two cars would have almost hit themselves head on. By trying an avoidance maneuver, one of them would have finished its race against an embankment.

Quickly, an important rescue device was mobilized. At 6 p.m., there are 17 firefighters at the scene of the accident.

Among the people involved, one is unscathed, another is slightly injured. “The state of the third victim would deteriorate,” says Codis 66. The Dragon 66 should be mobilized to evacuate it to a health establishment.

Due to this accident, traffic is strongly disrupted in the cluses sector. Alternating traffic has been set up.
