Designed around play, the apartment had to integrate a wooden slide, in a search for naturalness.

In Taipei, HAO Design renamed this second apartment The Hollow Treein reference to the achievement made in the children’s room. “We modified the structural column of the original space into an arc slide, which looks like an irregular tree trunk, waiting for Alice to jump into Wonderland”explains the agency, determined to spread its spirit of play. The structure allows both access to the bed, but also discreet storage of children’s games.
11. GAD Architecture, shopping center in Istanbul (Türkiye)
“Commercial spaces are generally full of life. (…) Instead of simple decorative changes, we wanted to create a space capable of transforming and renewing itself like a living organism”, indicates wepublic. The Turkish agency thus transformed this Istanbul commercial space into a games room, with mazes, cheerful colors and, of course, a metal slide.
