The sequence was published on a fan account which has more than 123,000 subscribers: we see the singer, emaciated but smiling, posing with a young fan. “News from our Kendji. Always there to take time for his fans,” he wrote in the caption.
The singer has not appeared in public since the night of April 21 to 22 when he suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, on a Travelers’ area in Biscarrosse, after an argument with his partner. He only confided on Instagram on May 10: “I wanted to apologize to all of you because I know all the pain and worry I may have caused you,” he said. “I thank you for the unfailing love that you have given me for ten years now and that you have continued to give me since the tragedy, you give me so much strength.”
“I am treating myself, I am resting to come back even stronger thanks to you and I want to leave this period of my life behind me. Today, I am moving forward,” he concluded.
