50 Cent teases new series

“My Power universe is always expanding”

50 Cent announces new series in the franchise “Power”. The universe of “Power” that he created at Starz will therefore expand, despite the fact that another series in the franchise is coming to an end.

On Thursday (June 13), film and TV mogul G-Unit took to Instagram, where he shared a message from actor Joseph Sikorawho has played the role of Tommy Egan since the original Power series, confirming that “Power Book IV: Force” will end after the third season.

But, according to the actor’s message, the decision to end the series was taken by its creators, and not by the managers of the premium channel: “When Gary Lennon, the other writers and I developed our third season, we realized that we were telling a complete story,” Sikora said. “And that it was the perfect opportunity to stay true to our artistic vision and to make this season the final chapter of Tommy’s journey to Chicago. But don’t worry, Tommy’s journey is far from over. We’re just warming up and I can’t wait to show you what we have planned next.”

“I’m happy that all the fans supported FORCE”wrote Fifty on Instagram. “We have more heat coming, my Power universe is still expanding…wait until you see what I have up my sleeve, you haven’t seen the last of Tommy…BOOM.”

Just a few months after the announcement of the third season of Power Book IV in December, showrunner Gary Lennon renewed his contract with Lionsgate Television to continue as part of the creative team for 50 Cent’s franchise.
