The flamboyant and assertive Kim Rusk was passing through podcast Take a breakduring which she spoke transparently on various subjects.
During this episode where we find her in the company of her good friend KevinsKylethe charismatic presenter opened up about different aspects of her life, both personal and professional, including the time she worked as a nude dancer.
One of the hosts asked her why she made the decision to pursue this profession despite her father’s popularity in Quebec.
“Dancing, for me, it began (…) let’s say I was 18 years old and I had like a bill $600 to pay (…). At one point a girl I know said to me: Hey, do you want to make some quick money, I know a place, you make $1000 to $2000 per weekend! I was like: OK, yes it’s beautiful, thank you, thank you! and finally I tripped very stiff (…) I didn’t care, I was a show girl», she said, fully embracing this moment in her life.
One of the hosts then asked her if she used drugs when she danced and she replied no, that she only smoked firecrackers:
“Everyone may think that I take powder, I don’t take powder, if I take powder, I don’t have any fun (…),” she continued while Kevins mentioned that people thought the same thing about him, a prejudice that they justified by their great energy and intensity.
She later explains that dancing was a way for her to break all the pressure she put on herself in the hope of pleasing her father.
“Dance met a lot of needs. My father is a businessman, he was involved in a lot of businesses, I saw him less, I definitely had daddy issues (…). At one point, I thought I could do a little research. The majority of the dancers are 95%, they all have no dads or almost none (…). You’re looking for that, you’re looking for the man’s look, you’re looking to go hooker men who will take care of you,” she continued, affirming that it was very profitable, that she did not allow herself to be walked on and that she did not engage in any negotiations.
The discussion then turned to the phenomenon OnlyFansso one of the hosts asked her if she had ever thought about creating one.
“Hey man, if I have already thought about it? Obviously I’ve already thought about it! I think I think about it every day!”, she confided, recounting having already sold images of her feet!
Intrigued, one of her interlocutors therefore followed up by asking her why she didn’t do it.
“I could have done that, I think. I have no shame. I like sexuality, I find it fun and I find a woman’s body beautiful! (…) In fact, I could even produce for other people (…). I think I could have been in the industry porn, not so much being an actress, but being a producer of films, photos, I don’t know. It attracts me,” she said, showing, as usual, great openness and honesty.
Assertive, open and bubbly, Kim never ceases to surprise us with her stories that go beyond the box!
