His last appearance in Fort Boyard dates back to the year 2021. For three seasons, Vincent Lagaf played the character of Megagaf’ in the cult summer game of France 2 by proposing a spectacular test. And while, last year, producer Alexia Laroche-Joubert announced the removal of this character, and therefore of this ordeal, she decided to call on the host again this year. It must be said that this summer, Fort Boyard will celebrate its 35th anniversary, still presented by Olivier Minne, and will therefore reserve many surprises for its fans for the occasion. And it’s Alexia Laroche-Joubert herself, now president of Banijay France, whose production company ALP ensures Fort Boyardwho called on Vincent Lagaf.

Filming took place last week at the famous fort located in Charente-Maritime. As a reminder, his test takes place in the open sea, on a flyboard on which one of the personalities of the show takes place to try to win a key. But nothing went as planned. “It was the worst struggle“, confided Vincent Lagaf to Tele-Leisure on the sidelines of an interview devoted to the upcoming return of Bigdil on the television. “I don’t know if we will show all the images, but we were there with my son (Robin, editor’s note)because it’s the kind of thing that I can only do with someone who knows about it, and he, in terms of flyboard and television, he knows a little about it“, continues the host. It is in fact his son who is used to filming him for this very technical test.

And to detail: “We had all the shit on Earth brought together in one show : very cold water, bad weather, electronic problems, mechanical problems, physical problems, really, it’s been the season from hell“. The sixty-year-old is however satisfied to have fulfilled his objectives in Fort Boyard. “Despite all that, we still delivered the baby“, he rejoices. Vincent Lagaf ultimately took part in two broadcasts of Fort Boyard and left satisfied with this experience like no other. “Fort Boyardit’s a team of 140 warriors who get along, there is solidarity, an extraordinary fraternity“, he concludes.
