Bernie Sanders and Ann Coulter, same fight

Can the worst people in the world ever be right on a particular issue? Progressives, and more specifically Bernie Sanders admirers, must today answer this question in the affirmative? What are we talking about? From the debate launched last week around the H-1B visa, which allows American companies to recruit qualified foreign workers. This debate pits certain billionaire allies of Donald Trump, including Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy and David Sacks, against certain supporters of the MAGA movement who advocate a nativist or racist policy on immigration.

“Elon Musk is wrong. The primary function of the H-1B visa program is not to hire “the best and the brightest,” but rather to replace high-paying American jobs with low-wage indentured servants from abroad. The cheaper the hired labor, the more money the billionaires make,” Sanders wrote on at the White House.

Sanders thus expresses the criticism formulated almost word for word by Loomer, Bannon and Coulter. However, he differs from Bannon, who does not believe in reform but in the pure and simple elimination of the H-1B visa.
