The DGSN arrests 58 people for fraud in the 2024 Baccalaureate in Morocco

Bac 2024 Fraud Morocco: the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) carried out a vast operation to combat cheating during the baccalaureate exams. 58 people were arrested, including women and minors. The cheaters used high-tech tools to defraud. Morocco sends a strong message: fraud will not be tolerated!

The 2024 bac exams in Morocco were marked by a vast anti-fraud operation. The DGSN, in collaboration with the DGST, carried out targeted operations from June 10 to 13. Result: 58 arrests across the country.

Among the suspects, there are 8 women and 5 minors. All are suspected of having participated in an organized cheating network. The methods used? Sophisticated electronic devices to communicate answers, or even broadcast topics live on social networks.

During the searches, the authorities seized a veritable arsenal of cheating 2.0: 50 cell phones, 459 batteries and 16 headphones. A loot which testifies to the scale of the phenomenon and the determination of the fraudsters.

This wave of arrests sends a clear message: the authorities are determined to no longer tolerate cheating, to protect the integrity of the baccalaureate and to guarantee equal opportunities for all candidates. So, future high school graduates, bet on your work and your knowledge, because fraud will get you nowhere!
