Anthony Nkinzo Kamole was appointed on Thursday June 13, 2024 as Chief of Staff of President Félix Tshisekedi. Single, he succeeds Guylain Nyembo who now assumes the positions of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Planning and Development Aid Coordination in the government led by Judith Suminwa.

Until this appointment, Anthony Nkinzo Kamole held the position of director general of the National Agency for the Promotion of Investments (ANAPI) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). His professional background also extends to a role as Associates Partner, specifically in charge of legal and tax aspects, at ABN Nzailu & Co between February 2017 and July 2017. He was also head of the firm at the Ministry of Portfolio and to the deputy prime minister of the Ministry of the Budget.

In addition, his experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the DRC, where he was Tax & Legal Manager from April 2012 to June 2014, has enriched his expertise. There he advised multinational and local clients on legal and tax matters. Between December 2000 and February 2004, he also worked as a recovery verification agent at the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI RDC).

Anthony Nkinzo Kamole has a degree in Law, International Public Law option, from the University of Kinshasa. His appointment comes approximately six months after the re-election of Félix Tshisekedi for a second presidential term. Furthermore, the new government is already in office.
