The president of the far-right party had chosen to bring forward the presentation of his program to respond directly to Emmanuel Macron’s speech at the Sorbonne the same morning. Result: a sluggish speech lasting around twenty minutes, and a disappearance. When concluding his remarks, Jordan Bardella in fact left his place to his campaign manager and “ his expert hands », so that he responds to the press.

“ As part of his campaign launch meeting, Emmanuel Macron did not answer questions from journalists, so Jordan Bardella is not answering questions this evening », then justified the deputy Alexandre Loubet. An incongruity – for a press conference, let us remember, and not a speech like the exercise that Emmanuel Macron took part in – which did not go through at all on site, at the headquarters of the National Rally, as you can see in our video at the top of the article.

It must be said that the president of the Lepéniste party, the big favorite for June 9 according to the polls, is not the most willing to enter the arena.
