Rabat – The Kingdom of Morocco, whose Sovereign HM King Mohammed VI, may God help him, chairs the Al Quds Committee, under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, vigorously denounced the incursion by certain extremists and their supporters in the esplanade of the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as the provocative acts they committed in violation of its sanctity.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, the Kingdom of Morocco affirms its rejection of all measures affecting the legal and historical status of the city of Al Quds and its sacred places, including the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, and all restrictions on the access of the faithful to its enclosure, emphasizing the need to preserve its civilizational and Islamic character and to avoid any form of escalation and provocation.

The Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, reaffirms that the establishment of a just and comprehensive peace and the consecration of lasting stability in the region remain dependent on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 1967 with Al Quds-East as its capital, in accordance with the resolutions of international legality and within the framework of the two-state solution.
