This decision, according to the statement from the opposition political party, came after a broad consultation of national figures, party executives, activists and supporters, in anticipation of the activities of the executive office.
The RFD called for a strong national surge to face the great dangers that threaten the country today, denouncing what Mauritanian citizens “experience daily in border areas, including attacks against themselves and their property, calling for to the need to put an end to these attacks, urgently, firmly, energetically and responsibly.”
