Maëva Labylle re-elected president of the Martinique Volleyball League

This Monday (December 2), Maëva Labylle was confirmed at the head of the League for the next four years. With her five-month interim mandate, she obtained the confidence of the clubs during the elective general assembly.

Of the 16 Affiliated Sports Groups (GSA), 15 were present. Among the 42 representative votes, 41 were cast:

  • 24 votes FOR
  • 13 votes AGAINST
  • 4 ABSTENTIONS

Maëva Labylle had already been in office since last June, following the election organized after the League was placed under supervision. She is now responsible for leading the structure for the next four years.

Maëva Labylle expressed the main areas of work for her mandate.

These four years will be an opportunity to do everything possible for the development that we wish to give to Martinican volleyball. In particular, we want to focus on training young people, structuring our territorial performance center and aiming for excellence.

She also highlighted the arrival of new members in the committee, including a doctor and an administrator, with a meeting planned to finalize the commissions and adjust priorities.

We will soon meet to confirm or redefine our commissions and realign our strategy for this Olympiad.

This re-election comes after five months of management under the presidency of Maëva Labylle. The work since his arrival must now be part of a longer-term vision, and respond to the sporting and organizational challenges of the discipline in Martinique.
