There is a new generation in the Roy family if we trust what Gildor Roy said in an interview: his son has landed his first role on television, and it will be in a very popular series.

Gildor Roy was passing through Under Listeningthe ballad of Mike Wardaccompanied by Marie-Lyne Joncas. At one point during their discussion, the actor mentioned, not without pride, that his son was going to play in Weapons.
The one who plays the main role in Dumas remembered the moment, at home, when he read the script. While reading it, he mentioned, just like that, that the character of Jean Dumas had a somewhat conflicted relationship with his son. Gildor didn’t expect one of his sons to tell him that he would like to play his son in the TV series. Luc Dionne.
“He never said in his life that he would like to be an actor… he is 25 years old,” he said. We therefore guess that it is his son Williamthe youngest, because we know that Gildor is the father of two boys, William et Luis David.
In the meantime, we now know that it is Jason Roy-Léveillée who plays Anthony Dumas, but the spark was now born, and William auditioned. It seems that talent runs in the family, as he landed a role in Weapons.
“The director asked him which theater school he had studied at… The Gildor Roy Academy!”, he joked.

Knowing that the episodes of Under Listening are posted on the listening platforms a few weeks or even a few months after their recording, we went to check the credits of the first 12 episodes of the series Weaponsand William’s name does not appear there. We therefore suspect that he will make an appearance in the second part of the season, upon returning from the holidays.
