The return of one of Netflix subscribers’ favorite series has never been closer! It was so popular when it was released that it is now the 7th most viewed series on the streaming platform and it returns in January!

Tick-tock, tick-tock… the countdown is on! In 2023, many of you voted for this suspense series, already renewed for a season 3, whose first season made it the 7th most watched series of all time on Netflix. The Night Agent returns on January 23, 2025, a date fans are eagerly awaiting! And, as a Christmas present, they were surprised to discover the trailer for season 2 of their favorite series. The trailer to see at the top of the article begins with the phone ringing again. The ringtone had triggered the plot of season 1 since FBI agent Peter Sutherland, responsible for watching over a telephone that never rang, was suddenly plunged into a dangerous plot, announced thanks to the famous telephone.

The Night Agent : Peter Sutherland more alone than ever in season 2

In these new images, we find Peter, bearded and weaving through the crowd. He appears to be trying to escape armed adversaries in Thailand, identifiable by the giant statue of Buddha. We then learn that a leak has been noted within the CIA, which is why the FBI agent arrives and investigates on his own to find out who is behind this leak. Not knowing if the “Night Action” is involved, Peter finds himself more alone than ever, “can’t trust anyone”as he confides. This is where Rose Larkin intervenes and tells him that he can trust her. However, Peter still has strong feelings for Rose.

A new character arrives in The Night Agent

A race against time begins when Peter learns that a mole is selling American intelligence to the highest bidder. Someone just stole enough experimental weapons to wipe out Manhattan. The trailer notably introduces the character of Alice, played by Snow, who is Peter’s new mentor. The latter warns him and invites him to remain the lone wolf we know because, according to her, “relationships are dangerous”. The trailer therefore gives a glimpse of a new season at the heart of intelligence which promises to be as thrilling as the first salvo!
