“There will be a show” after the end of “TPMP” and C8, promises Cyril Hanouna on December 19, 2024 on C8.

ENTERTAINMENT – “What will happen in 2025? The revelations! » Here is the banner displayed on the screen of viewers watching Don’t touch my post on C8 this Thursday, December 19, while Arcom confirmed a few days earlier its decision not to renew the frequency of the channel on TNT. In this vague context, Cyril Hanouna wanted to answer the questions.

At the end of his daily talk show, the C8 star presenter wanted to follow up on information published earlier in the day in The Parisian. The newspaper revealed that the general director of Cyril Hanouna’s production company, Lionel Stan, had sent a message to the teams of TPMP to mark the end of the show and of C8 on February 28.

The Parisian indicated that the channel’s flagship show, sanctioned several times by Arcom due to excesses, would ultimately not be broadcast on CStar, another channel of the Canal+ group, as Cyril Hanouna had envisaged a few weeks earlier. The daily added that the host would have told his teams that a program was being developed, but that it would not be on the air before September.

A new show in development

Cyril Hanouna therefore wanted to react first to the press release sent by Lionel Stan, by reading it in its entirety on set. A notable passage in the letter is that the general manager and the facilitator urge employees to look for work elsewhere. You can watch and listen to his speech below. But the presenter of TPMP wanted to recall that he had been “ obliged to send (this letter), (…) to warn the teams. This is normal, this is the usual legal procedure”.

And to ensure: “We know that we are going to have, that we are going to do something, that’s for sure. Now, it can be March 15th, normally we do everything so that it is March 3rd. (…) There will be a show for sure. Just a quick question of dates, we are in the process of seeing that. For that you need a special signal, but there you go. »

“Whatever happens, we will bring our technicians to the next project with the Canal+ antennas since we are currently working on it,” he continued, without saying more about this future show. We will still have to wait to find out the concept, the broadcast channel, and the arrival on the air of this future show.
