On paper, nothing predestined the three sisters of Cat’s Eyes to meet the Comte de Monte Cristo. However, the TF1 series does indeed have a link with the historical film, which stars Pierre Niney in the main role, as noted by Télé-Loisirs.
Le Comte de Monte Cristo Would he have enjoyed running across the rooftops of Paris to escape the police? In any case, the Chamade sisters of Cat’s Eyes clearly inherited his love of disguise. And against all expectations, the characters of these two works of fiction share much more than a gift for disappearing behind wacky costumes. Télé-Loisirs thus noted that the historic 2024 film with Pierre Niney has two other points in common with the TF1 series, which is currently a hit on the channel during its weekly broadcasts, every Monday evening.

THE Cat’s Eyes share a castle and a butler with the Comte de Monte Cristo
In episode 7 of season 1 of Cat’s Eyesthe only one broadcast on TF1, on this Monday, December 2, 2024, the three art thieves thus discover a prestigious new place: the immense castle of Dalembert, their worst enemy, played by Guillaume de Tonquédec. After having visited the peaks of the Eiffel Tower, wandering through the galleries of the Palace of Versailles or running through the rooms of the Louvre Museum, the three sisters go to this humble residence, in order to steal paintings that belonged to their father.
To film in these locations, the team of Cat’s Eyes set up its cameras in the prestigious Château de Dampont, also known as Château du Héron, located in Us in Val-d'Oise, as reported by Télé-Loisirs. A residence which has served as a setting for several films and series, including the famous Comte de Monte Cristowhich was a hit at the cinema in 2024. The rooms of the castle were used for the filming of this historical masterpiece with Pierre Niney, which recounts the quest for revenge of Edmond Dantès, convicted of a crime he did not did not commit.
And that's not all. To assist the masters of the place, whether it is Monte-Cristo or Dalembert in Cat’s Eyesone and the same actor was chosen: Abdé Maziane. The actor, also seen in the series Ourika on Prime Video, plays the butler in the feature film by Alexandre De La Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte, as in the adaptation of the manga by Tsukasa Hōjō, on TF1.
