Fusion hours – Wallonia-Brussels Center in Paris – Paris, 75004

Undisciplined evening signed by accomplices of the ship, between screenings, performances, readings and DJ set! > 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.: ON TIME, performed reading and photo projection by Jérôme Game and Jean-Michel Espitallier Title included in the EP Light turbulences to be released by *DUUU in January 2025 Between poetic orality and percussive sound, On Time combines writing and improvisation in a contrasting dialogue. Voice and drums intertwine, dialogue or clash, blurring the roles between drummer and poet. Inspired by minimalist loops, the litanies of beat poets and the motorik of Krautrock, Game and Espitallier redefine sound poetry and stage performance as a drifting sound installation. > 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: B. Painted Show, Performance – Dance – Styling – by Léa Bridarolli and Eneas Vaca Bualo, in collaboration with DJ REÏNE and Bernard Bousquet. Carte Blanche of the Generator. In view of their complicity and the numerous collaborations forged since 2022 with Le Génacteur, the Wallonia-Brussels Center welcomes within one of its FUSION evenings the B.PAINTED SHOW which – like the DNA of Le Génacteur – brings together performances, live music, dance, living sculptures, fashion shows, all at once. With a circulation in the Center Gallery as a roadmap, this new B.PAINTED SHOW will alternate between a continuous flow of dance actions from the Ensemble /K/ inétikos, the presentation of the B.Painted collection, the participation of the art historian Jens Hauser, and performances by artists Skall and Deed Julius who will provoke some welcome pile-ups with their rebellious spirit. A Fusion evening accompanied live by the saturated and festive sounds of DJ REÏNE. > 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.: VOSTOK — Now I am a Lake A program of videos and performances with Signe Frederiksen, Margaux Schwarz, Hagar Tenenbaum and Eleanor Ivory Weber. . Curated by Pauline Hatzigeorgiou/SB34 VOSTOK — Now I am a Lake is a program designed for the Wallonia-Brussels/ Center, curated by Pauline Hatzigeorgiou/SB34, around the theme “VOSTOK”, inspired by Stéphanie Pécourt. The subglacial Lake Vostok, isolated under the ice of Antarctica, becomes a fascinating metaphor for the unconscious, communication failures and latent fantasies. The program brings together two performances – Civility by Margaux Schwarz and Riddle by Eleanor Ivory Weber – and two videos – Neither strange nor foreign by Signe Frederiksen and Fun Fair by Hagar Tenenbaum. These works explore the stage or screen as a place of interaction between seeing and being seen, questioning modes of attention and social dynamics. A booklet published by SolidÉditions accompanies this event, the title of which, Now I am a Lake, is taken from the poem Mirror by Sylvia Plath. > 9:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Dj set by Egna and KennymphePerformance Lightcodes Transmission by Arya K/Nell with Elyoun Auvray For the Fusion evening at the CWB, the Deficit collective brings a proposal inspired by a post-apocalyptic aesthetic, taking up the technomystical universe developed by Arya K/Nell's Lightcodes Transmission performance. Outlining a reappropriation of her corporeality through ritual choreography, erecting spirituality as a weapon of queer and transfeminist emancipation, Arya oscillates between the figure of the technowitch and that of the cyborg to evoke the fluidity of identity. DJ sets by Egna and Kennymphe will punctuate the Centre's basement, while a selection of experimental video works (Klara Lazare, Guillaume Anglard, Golnaz Behrouznia and Noé Grenier) will be broadcast continuously, highlighting the liminal aspect of a dystopian eco-brutalism. Continuous: Video projection, Carte Blanche from the Deficit Collective
