Bernard Montiel makes a big revelation about his real estate assets in TPMP and astounds Cyril Hanouna

Bernard Montiel is one of the leading columnists of Don’t touch my post. The former host of Video Gag does not hesitate to reveal himself on Cyril Hanouna’s set, sometimes at the risk of being tackled by his playmates. He has repeatedly mentioned in the show his villa in Cap-Ferret, from which he separated . He notably revealed that the new owners were using his notoriety to rent the property on dedicated platforms. “I’m not a celebrity, but the people who bought my house in Pilat, they rent it through Airbnb saying it’s my home, and that annoys me a little.“, he observed. “It’s sold, it’s sold eh!“, he concluded with bitterness.

Bernard Montiel reveals the staggering sale price of one of his plots of land

This Thursday, November 28, Bernard Montiel once again risked revealing some secrets about his real estate assets. “When I bought it, 35 years ago at Pilat, it wasn’t worth much. And it turns out that with all this circus between the cinema, the people, the bobos, who came…”, he began to explain. Cyril Hanouna deduced that the former host had to increase the price of his villa tenfold between its purchase and its sale. “Yes, yes, it went well”confirmed the former presenter. But his confidences did not stop there. “I’ll be honest, I bought land 20 years ago. I paid 200,000 bucks for it, I already had a loan on it, all that. I sold it for 1.4 million. 1100 m2 buildable at the end of my swimming pool“, he blurted. A staggering figure which left the set and Cyril Hanouna speechless. “I’m almost 68, that’s okay. I’ve worked all my life”he justified himself.

Gilles Verdez reframes Bernard Montiel after his confidences

Cyril Hanouna asked Gilles Verdez to intervene in order to reframe Bernard Montiel. “At the end of the swimming pool, there was another plot of land. 1.4 million, just the land. (…) So the land before was the house with a swimming pool. If a piece of land is worth 1, 4 million, the land with house and swimming pool, how much is ten million euros worth? he asked her. But Bernard Montiel wanted to point out that he had paid a huge amount of taxes with this sale. “I paid 400,000 in duties and I was entitled to a tax audit following that”he finished his argument.
